The Broken Lantern is the latest venue from the award-winning team at The Parasol & Swing Company. This beautiful new venue in the heart of Ponsonby Road is a tribute to all the things we love from a world-class, modern tavern. From delicious comfort food to a large selection of local craft beer on draught, bespoke cocktails from award-winning bartenders, to an excellent selection of organic and natural wines from New Zealand and abroad.

One key element however that makes The Broken Lantern a little different is that along with everything else, twice a year we will be creating a new seasonal theme with our team from the bar and kitchen, and a local kiwi artist. What this means is that for each new season, there will be newly commissioned pieces of art, designed to match the seasonal section of the food menu, the seasonal section of the wine list, and of course the seasonal section of the cocktail menu.  We want our guests to be taken on a little journey to another time or place, without leaving the comfort of their favourite local.
